André De Cortanze
André de Cortanze (born 30 March 1941) is a French motorsport engineer. Career De Cortanze graduated in 1967 with an engineering degree and joined Alpine, a car manufacturer, where he drove and designed racing cars. He also experienced success in Formula Three and Formula Two and designed a test chassis for Renault's initial foray into Formula One. In the 1980s, he moved to Peugeot Talbot Sport as Technical Director, enjoying victories in rallying and Le Mans. In , he moved to the new Sauber F1 team, where he helped design the Sauber C13 and was an engineer at the team during the 1994 Formula One season. The Société des Automobiles Alpine SAS, commonly known as Alpine (), is a French manufacturer of racing and sports cars established in 1955. The Alpine car marque was created in 1954. Jean Rédélé, the founder of Alpine, was originally a Dieppe garage proprietor who began to achieve success in motorsport with one of the few French cars that were produced just after the Second World War, the Renault 4CV. The company has been closely related to Renault through its history, and was bought by it in 1973. The Alpine competition department merged into Renault Sport in 1976 and the production of Alpine-badged models ceased in 1995. Alain Marie Pascal Prost (; born 24 February 1955) is a French retired racing driver and Formula One team owner. A four-time Formula One World Drivers' Champion, from 1987 until 2001 he held the record for most Grand Prix victories until Michael Schumacher surpassed Prost's total of 51 victories at the 2001 Belgian Grand Prix. In 1999, Prost received the World Sports Award of the Century in the motor sport category. Prost discovered karting at the age of 14 during a family holiday. Pescarolo Sport
Pescarolo Sport was a motorsport team based in Le Mans, France and founded in February 2000 by French racing driver Henri Pescarolo and his friend and partner, French publisher François Granet. They raced in the Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In October 2007, Henri Pescarolo purchased Jacques Nicolet's Saulnier Racing and created Pescarolo Automobiles, with the racing team becoming a division of the new company. The Pescarolo Automobiles went into receivership on 15 June 2010. Following a liquidation sale, the company was resold back to Henri Pescarolo and rebranded as Pescarolo Team for the 2011 season. However, the team's financial situation did not improve, and was wound up in January 2013. Robert Choulet
Robert Choulet (born 28 February 1935) is a French aerodynamics engineer influential in race car dynamics. Career A disciple of aerodynamics pioneer Charles Deutsch, Choulet worked for Deutsch's Société d'Études et de Réalisations Automobiles (SERA-CD ) from 1963 to 1967. During this period, he worked on the aerodynamics of the CD cars. He then joined Matra in 1968. One of his first projects was the Matra M640 Le Mans 24 Hours car. Following that, he returned to SERA-CD and was involved in designing the famous Porsche 917 especially the LH version, and the Can-Am cars that followed. He later was influential in designing the Alfa Romeo 33TT12. From 1976 to 1980, Choulet worked with the Ligier Formula One team, being involved in the design of the JS5, JS7, JS9, JS11 and JS11/15 models.
