André Linman
André Linman (born 28 February 1992) was a founding member, lead singer and guitarist of the Finnish band Sturm und Drang. Sturm und Drang have been on hiatus since 2013. Linman is currently lead vocalist of One Desire. He started learning guitar and singing in 2004, the same year Sturm und Drang was formed. His father is Patrick Linman, who is mostly recognized from the Finnish ESC. André usually writes the music for the songs with his father, and the lyrics by himself. Linman plays ESP Guitars and mostly he uses a variety of ESP SV guitars. Musical influences Linman is mainly self-taught and his main influences in guitar playing comes from Judas Priest's guitarist Glenn Tipton. He also admires bands like Sonata Arctica, Iron Maiden, Dio and other heavy metal artists. Linman is also a self-taught vocalist and when Sturm und Drang started in 2004 he had never sung before. Dio (band)
Dio was an American heavy metal band formed in 1982 and led by vocalist Ronnie James Dio. Dio left Black Sabbath with intentions to form a new band with fellow former Black Sabbath drummer Vinny Appice. The name Dio was chosen because it made sense from a commercial standpoint, as the name was already well known at that time. The band released 10 studio albums and had numerous lineup changes over the years, with Dio himself being the only constant member. Guitarists included Vivian Campbell, Craig Goldy, Doug Aldrich, Warren DeMartini, Tracy G, Jake E. Lee and Rowan Robertson. The band dissolved in 2010 when Ronnie James Dio died of stomach cancer at the age of 67. Dio has sold more than 20 million albums worldwide. ''Rock 'n Roll Children'' is the second album by Finnish band Sturm und Drang. The album was released 12 November 2008 in Finland, and 16 January 2009 in other parts of Europe. ''Rock 'n Roll Children'' went straight to number two on the Finnish sales chart, and it was certified gold (15.000 records) within one week in Finland. The album was produced by Jimmy Westerlund, and co-produced by André Linman, Patrick Linman, Mats Persson, Erik Mårtensson and Johan Becker. Jani Liimatainen (Ex-Sonata Arctica, Cain's Offering) wrote the song "River Runs Dry". The first single from the album, "Break Away", was released 22 September 2008. ''Learning to Rock'' is the debut album by the Finnish band Sturm und Drang. It spawned "Rising Son" and "Forever" (only radio promo single) as its first two singles. The band members were only 15 and 16 years old when the album was released. The album was released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on August 24, 2007, and the versions released there had different cover and different track lists. One version was the same in Finland, but their German label GUN Records released an Amazon special version which included a cover of Judas Priests "Breaking the Law", the video for "Rising Son" and an EPK interview. They also recorded a new version of "Forever", featuring Udo Dirkschneider on backing vocals. Def Leppard are an English rock band formed in 1976 in Sheffield. Since 1992, the band has consisted of Rick Savage (bass, backing vocals), Joe Elliott (lead vocals), Rick Allen (drums, backing vocals), Phil Collen (guitar, backing vocals), and Vivian Campbell (guitar, backing vocals).
