Kåre Bergstrøm
Kåre Bergstrøm (3 February 1911 – 24 June 1976) was a Swedish-born photographer and film director who settled in Norway. Bergstrøm was born in Värmland. He was assigned with the film production company Norsk Film from 1933, and eventually became a photographer. He photographed Toralf Sandø's film ''Den forsvundne pølsemaker'' from 1941, Tancred Ibsen's film '' Den farlige leken'' from 1942, Rasmus Breistein's ''Trysil-Knut'' from 1942, and Alfred Maurstad's comedy ''En herre med bart'' from 1942. After World War II he photographed Edith Carlmar's film debut ''Døden er et kjærtegn'', and Ibsen's ''To mistenkelige personer'', which eventually was forbidden to be shown in public after a judgement by the Supreme Court of Norway. Gisken Wildenvey (23 March 1892 – 14 January 1985) was a Norwegian novelist and author of short stories. Jonette Pauline Andreassen was born at Austvågøy at Vågan in Lofoten, Norway. She was the daughter of farmer Anton Lauritz Andreassen and Inger Martha Jentoft Petersen. The name Gisken had been given to her by the poet Herman Wildenvey whom she married in 1912. From 1927 they lived at Hergisheim in Stavern. She made her literary debut in 1925 with the short story collection ''Bedaarere''. Inger Marie Andersen (25 November 1930 – 29 April 1995) was a Norwegian actress who was the most popular female film star in her native country during the 1950s. Starring as both romantic and comedic leads, she appeared in 17 films between 1951 and 1982. Her first film was as the leading actress in Nils R. Müller's critically lauded comedy ''Vi gifter oss'' (1951); which made her an instant celebrity. She was also a stage actress at the National Theatre in Oslo where she began her career in 1950. Toralv Maurstad
Toralv Maurstad (24 November 1926 – 4 November 2022) was a Norwegian stage, film, and television actor. He was the son of actor Alfred Maurstad and actress Tordis Maurstad (née Witzøe), and half-brother of actress Mari Maurstad. His screen debut came in the 1937 film '' Fant'', which starred his father Alfred. Maurstad graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London in 1949. Through the years he not only worked as a leading actor but was also a respected stage director, and was the head of Oslo Nye Teater (Oslo New Theatre) from 1967 to 1978. He was also head of Norway's National Theatre Nationaltheatret from 1978 to 1986. Maurstad was considered perhaps the greatest interpreter of Henrik Ibsen's ''Peer Gynt'', having played the part numerous times (he even performed excerpts from the play as late as the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City). Ingeborg Steffens (October 3, 1907 – April 27, 1982) was a Norwegian actress. Steffens was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), Norway. She was the daughter of Major General William Steffens (1880–1964) and Anette Eger (1884–1944). She was the first wife of the actor Georg Richter. Olav Engebretsen, also Olaf Engebretsen (December 25, 1905 – March 30, 1988) was a Norwegian film editor and director. Engebretsen was primarily active as a film editor from 1941 to 1962. The films that he edited include ''Den forsvundne pølsemaker'' (1941), ''Jeg drepte!'', (1942), and ''Line'' (1961).
