Andries Vermeulen
Andries Vermeulen (1763 - 1814) was a Dutch painter. Vermeulen was born in Dordrecht. He was taught by his father, Cornelis Vermeulen (Dutch painter), Cornelis Vermeulen. He was primarily a landscape painter. He worked for some time in Amsterdam, where he died. Dordrecht (), historically known in English as Dordt (still colloquially used in Dutch, ) or Dort, is a city and municipality in the Western Netherlands, located in the province of South Holland. It is the province's fifth-largest city after Rotterdam, The Hague, Zoetermeer and Leiden, with a population of .
