Andri Kirsima (born 17 April 1971, in Tallinn) is an Estonian architect. Andri Kirsima graduated from the Department of Architecture of the Tallinn University of Art (today's Estonian Academy of Arts) in 1995. He works in the architectural bureau Kirisma&Niineväli OÜ. Works by Andri Kirsima include are the bus station of Rapla, Marientahl department store and office building and the Coca-Cola Plaza multiplex cinema in Tallinn. Tallinn () is the most populous and capital city of Estonia. Estonians or Estonian people ( et, eestlased) are a Finnic ethnic group native to Estonia who speak the Estonian language. The Estonian language is spoken as the first language by the vast majority of Estonians; it is closely related to other Finnic languages, e.g. Finnish, Karelian and Livonian. Rapla
Rapla (German: ''Rappel'') is a town in central Estonia, the capital of Rapla County and the centre of Rapla Parish. The oldest records date back to 1241 in the Danish Census Book, when it was said that it was a small village with 8 acres of cultivated fields. By the end of the 13th century, the village centre was firmly established. At around the same time, a Cistercian monastery was built. Rapla's ambitious period of fast growth began only in the late 19th century. In 1866, a pharmacy was built, in 1868 a school, and in 1888 a hospital. In 1898, a Brick factory was opened, and in 1900, a railway line was built between Rapla and Viljandi. The old stone church was demolished in the late 19th century and a new one was built in a Romanesque style, one of the purest examples of this style in all of Estonia. Union Of Estonian Architects
Union of Estonian Architects (or Estonian Association of Architects, EAA; et, Eesti Arhitektide Liit) organizes architects, landscape architects and architecture researchers. EAA re-established 27 June 1989. EAA is a legal successor of ''Estonian Association of Architects'', which was established on 8 October 1921. Since 2010 the head of EAA is Peeter Pere. Every year EAA gives out annual prize to Estonian architects or to Estonian architectural firms who have projected the most notable structure in the past year. Viimsi
Viimsi (german: Wiems) is a small borough ( et, alevik) in Harju County, Estonia, about northeast of the centre of Tallinn, just north of Tallinn's subdistrict Merivälja. Viimsi is the administrative centre of Viimsi Parish. As of the 2011 census, its population was 2,341. Viimsi Manor, which was established by St. Brigitta Nunnery (in Pirita), was first mentioned in 1471 as ''Wiems''. After the Great Northern War, the manor had multiple owners, among them the Stenbock, Buxhoeveden, Maydell and Schottländer families. After the dispossession in 1919 the manor was given to the Commander-in-chief of the Estonian Army, General Johan Laidoner, who owned it until 1940. During World War II, it was used by the Red Army.
