Andrew Pinson
Andrew A. Pinson (born 1985/1986) is an American lawyer from Georgia who was appointed as an associate justice of the Georgia Supreme Court. He served as a judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals from 2021 to 2022. Education Pinson received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance ''summa cum laude'' from the University of Georgia and his Juris Doctor ''summa cum laude'' from the University of Georgia School of Law. While at Georgia Law, he served as Executive Articles Editor for the ''Georgia Law Review''. David Bryan Sentelle (born February 12, 1943) is a Senior United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. Early life, family and education David Sentelle was born in Canton, North Carolina. His father was a mill worker. David Sentelle was raised in Candler, North Carolina. Law clerks have assisted the justices of the United States Supreme Court in various capacities since the first one was hired by Justice Horace Gray in 1882. Each justice is permitted to have between three and four law clerks per Court term. Most persons serving in this capacity are recent law school graduates (and typically graduated at the top of their class). Among their many functions, clerks do legal research that assists justices in deciding what cases to accept and what questions to ask during oral arguments, prepare memoranda, and draft orders and opinions. Harold Melton
Harold David Melton (born September 25, 1966) is a former chief justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia. Early years and education A 1984 graduate of Joseph Wheeler High School in Marietta, Georgia, Melton received a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1991. From 1991–2002, he served as a Volunteer Leader of Young Life Ministries and is currently a Board Member of Atlanta Youth Academy and the Director of Teen Ministry at Southwest Christian Fellowship Church. While at Auburn University, Melton served as the Student Government Association President for the 1987-88 academic year.
