Andrew Ogletree
Andrew Ogletree (born July 28, 1998) is an American football tight end for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Findlay and Youngstown State. Early years Ogletree grew up in Dayton, Ohio and attended Northridge High School, where he played football and basketball. College career Ogletree began his college career at Findlay. Over the course of three seasons, he caught 54 passes for 785 yards and 10 touchdowns. He transferred to Youngstown State after his junior year. Ogletree caught 28 passes for 282 yards as a senior. Professional career Ogletree was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the sixth round, 192nd overall, of the 2022 NFL Draft. On August 18, 2022, Ogletree was placed on injured reserve after suffering a torn ACL in training camp. Tight End
The tight end (TE) is a position in American football, arena football, and Canadian football, on the offense. The tight end is often a hybrid position with the characteristics and roles of both an offensive lineman and a wide receiver. Like offensive linemen, they are usually lined up on the offensive line and are large enough to be effective blockers. On the other hand, unlike offensive linemen, they are eligible receivers adept enough to warrant a defense's attention when running pass patterns. Because of the hybrid nature of the position, the tight end's role in any given offense depends on the tactical preferences and philosophy of the head coach as well as overall team dynamic. In the National Football League, training camp refers to the time before the season commences. During this time, teams sometimes congregate at an outside location, usually a university, to conduct training camp for at least the first few weeks. This is similar to baseball's spring training. Training camp is used in several different ways. New players and coaches use it to acclimate themselves to new teammates and systems. For younger players, it serves as a period of evaluation; for veterans, it is time to return to form. Training camp is divided into several different components. The first is scrimmages. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The 2022 NFL Draft was the 87th edition of the National Football League's annual draft and was held from April 28–30, 2022, at the Caesars Forum on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. The first round was held on Thursday, April 28, and was followed by the second and third rounds on Friday, April 29. The draft concluded with rounds 4–7 on Saturday, April 30.
