Andrew Marshall (screenwriter)
Andrew Paul Marshall (born 27 August 1954) is a British comedy screenwriter, most noted for the domestic sitcom ''2point4 children''. He was also the inspiration for Marvin the Paranoid Android in ''The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy''. Although he had also previously adapted stories for ''Agatha Christie's Poirot'', in 2002 he made a further move into writing "straight" drama, with the fantasy horror series '' Strange''. He has also written several screenplays. Andrew MacGregor Marshall (born 25 March 1971) is a Scottish journalist and author, focusing mainly on human rights, conflict, politics and crime, mostly in Asia and the Middle East. A noted critic of the Thai monarchy and government, in June 2011, Marshall resigned from Reuters in controversial circumstances after the news agency refused to publish exclusive stories he was writing on the Thai monarchy. His 2014 book ''A Kingdom in Crisis'' was banned in Thailand and a prominent Thai royalist made a formal complaint to police accusing Marshall of several crimes including '' lèse majesté''. Andrew Marshall (American Football)
Andrew Marshall (c. 1879February 2, 1965) was an American football player. Marshall was educated at the Roxbury Latin School, Dartmouth College and Harvard Law School. He played one year of college football at Dartmouth and graduated in 1901. While attending Harvard Law School, he played for the Harvard Crimson football in 1902 and 1903 and was selected as a consensus All-American at the Guard (American football), guard position in 1903. Marshall practiced law in Boston. He served as the Assistant Attorney General of Massachusetts. He was later a partner in the Hutchins and Wheeler law firm. He lived in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston. He died in February 1965 in Ormond Beach, Florida, at age 85. Career College Marshall grew up in Ellicott City, Maryland, attended Centennial High School, where he played both soccer and lacrosse and led his lacrosse team to the 2003 Maryland state championship. He played college soccer Towson University, where he started all 76 games of college career.
