Andrew Kelly (born 8 March 1988) is a New Zealand international lawn and indoor bowler. Early life He grew up in Oamaru, North Otago and was a pupil at Waitaki Boys' High School. Bowls career In 2009, he won the Hong Kong International Bowls Classic pairs title with Richard Collett. He was a World Junior champion (2010) and he captained the fours (outdoors) when winning the New Zealand National Bowls Championships in 2012 and 2014, when bowling for the Canterbury 2017 and Redcliffs Bowls Clubs respectively. He won double gold at the 2015 Asia Pacific Bowls Championships in Christchurch. In 2018, he qualified for the 2018 World Indoor Bowls Championship where he eliminated six times world champion Alex Marshall. In 2020 he won the singles title at the National Championships. Oamaru
Oamaru (; mi, Te Oha-a-Maru) is the largest town in North Otago, in the South Island of New Zealand, it is the main town in the Waitaki District. 2022 Commonwealth Games
The 2022 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XXII Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Birmingham 2022, was an international multi-sport event for members of the Commonwealth of Nations that took place in Birmingham, England between 28 July and 8 August 2022. Aaron Wilson (bowls)
Aaron Wilson (born 24 November 1991) is an Australian international lawn bowler. Bowls career Wilson won the 2016 World Junior Championships and won the gold medal with bowls partner Brett Wilkie in the pairs at the 2016 World Outdoor Bowls Championship and won a silver medal in the fours. He won the Australian Open singles title in 2013. Wilson was selected as part of the Australian team for the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in Queensland, where he won a gold medal in the singles. He is currently high performance coach of the Cabramatta Bowling Club in Sydney. In 2020 he was selected for the 2020 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Australia. The following year in 2021, he won his second Australian Open singles crown. In 2022, he competed in the men's singles and the men's pairs at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and won the gold medal in the men's singles. Tony Grantham (born 30 December 1972) is a New Zealand international lawn and indoor bowler. Bowls career Grantham from Whanganui, in New Zealand won the New Zealand national championship which qualified him to play in the 2007 World Singles Champion of Champions event. He won the gold medal in the event beating Will James of Swaziland in the final. He won two medals at the 2011 Asia Pacific Bowls Championships in Adelaide. One year later he then won a bronze medal in the triples at the 2012 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Adelaide. Grantham also competed for New Zealand at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and has won three National titles; the 2007 singles title, 2013/14 pairs and 2013/14 fours title at the New Zealand National Bowls Championships, when bowling for the Birkenhead Bowls Club.
