Andrew J. Levander
Andrew J. Levander (born 1953) is an American lawyer and Chairman of the law firm Dechert, who advises on securities fraud, commercial litigation and white-collar criminal defense matters. A former federal prosecutor, he is known for representing numerous prominent Wall Street companies and executives, as well as global businesses facing litigation. Education and early career Levander received his bachelor's degree ''summa cum laude'' from Tufts University in 1973. He graduated in 1977 from Columbia Law School, where he was a Kent Scholar and the Notes and Comments Editor of the Columbia Law Review. After completing law school, he clerked for the Honorable Wilfred Feinberg of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
