Andrew Chin
Andrew Chin (born September 22, 1992) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 15th round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft. Career Amateur Chin attended Buckingham Browne & Nichols in Cambridge, Massachusetts, where he was drafted in the 5th round (169th overall) by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 2011 MLB Draft. Chin committed to Boston College, where he pitched for the Boston College Eagles baseball team. He missed the 2012 season due to Tommy John surgery. In 2014, he pitched for the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League. New York Yankees The New York Yankees selected Chin in the 15th round of the 2014 MLB draft. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. Can-Am League
The Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball, commonly known as the Can-Am League, was a professional, independent baseball league with teams in the Northeast United States and Eastern Canada, founded in 2005 as a reorganization of its predecessor, the Northeast League. The Can-Am League operated in cities not directly served by Major or Minor League teams and was not affiliated with either. The league office was in Dayton, Ohio. The 2017 World Baseball Classic (WBC) was an international professional baseball competition, composed of 16 competing nations, held from March 6 to March 22, 2017. It was the fourth iteration of the World Baseball Classic. The first-round hosts were Seoul, Tokyo, Miami, and Zapopan. The second-round hosts were Tokyo and San Diego, and the championship round was played in Los Angeles.
