Andrew Alexander (producer)
Andrew Alexander is a theater and television producer best known for his previous leadership and co-ownership of The Second City, and co-developing and producing the television show '' SCTV.'' Early life Andrew Alexander was born in London, the United Kingdom. His father, who worked in the aeronautics industry, moved the family to Canada in 1951. Alexander studied at Tri-State College in Indiana and Ryerson University in Toronto. Career Following a year and a half at Ryerson, in 1967, Alexander worked for Thompson Newspapers and the ''Oakville Beaver'' newspaper. In the early 1970s, he frequented the Toronto arts scene, working as an editor of ''Ski Magazine'', and for the ill-fated John Lennon Peace Festival. Alexander worked at the Global Village Theatre, co-producing late night shows, along with his marketing and publicity day job at the Toronto Arts Foundation. Andrew Alexander is an English actor and singer, who is best known for his role as Sir John Bullock in ''Downton Abbey''. In 2018, he was made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music for his significant contribution to the creative industries. Andrew Clive Alexander (12 May 1935 – 5 July 2015) was an English journalist and columnist for ''The Yorkshire Post'', ''The Daily Telegraph'' and ''The Daily Mail''. Between 1984 and 2000 , he was the City editor for the ''Daily Mail'' Life Alexander was born in Worthing on 12 May 1935.
