Andrei Yurievich Zyuzin (russian: Андрей Юрьевич Зюзин; born January 21, 1978) is a Russian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the San Jose Sharks, Tampa Bay Lightning, New Jersey Devils, Minnesota Wild, Calgary Flames and Chicago Blackhawks. Playing career As a youth, Zyuzin played in the 1992 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Druzhba-78 squad, a team from Kharkiv. Ukraine. He was trained by Ukrainian coach Ivan Pravilov, who was arrested in 2012 for sexual abuse of a teenage student, and committed suicide by hanging in prison. Zyuzin was drafted 2nd overall by the San Jose Sharks in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. Zyuzin has played 415 career NHL games, scoring 35 goals and 74 assists for 109 points. Adrian Mark Aucoin (born July 3, 1973) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He played over 1,100 games in the National Hockey League (NHL). Aucoin was born in Ottawa, Ontario, but grew up in Gloucester, Ontario. Playing career As a youth, Aucoin played in the 1987 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with a minor ice hockey team from Gloucester. Aucoin was drafted 117th overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, making his NHL debut in 1994–95, playing one game with Vancouver. With the Canucks, Aucoin established himself as a significant offensive threat, specifically on the power play. The Dallas Stars are a professional ice hockey team based in Dallas. Ed Belfour
Edward John Belfour (born April 21, 1965) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender. Belfour was born in Carman, Manitoba and grew up playing hockey. He played junior hockey for the Winkler Flyers before going to the University of North Dakota where he helped the school win the NCAA championship in the 1986–87 season. The following year, Belfour signed as a free agent with the Chicago Blackhawks (after not being picked in the draft) alternating time between them and the Saginaw Hawks of the International Hockey League. Many regard Belfour as an elite goaltender and one of the best of all-time. His 484 wins rank fifth all-time among NHL goaltenders. Belfour was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in the 2011 class, his first year of eligibility. Druzbha-78 ( uk, Дружба-78; en, Friendship-78) was an U-18 ice hockey team based in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Sexual abuse allegations and suicide In January 2012, the coach and owner of the team, Ivan Pravilov was accused of fondling a 14-year-old Ukrainian player whom he had invited to his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was arrested, and placed in a Federal Detention Center. Days later he was found to be unresponsive at around 3:00 am; by 3:45, he was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Evidence suggested that he had committed suicide by hanging in his jail cell.
