Andrei Kobelev
Andrey Nikolayevich Kobelev (russian: Андрей Николаевич Кобелев; born 22 October 1968 in Moscow) is a Russian retired footballer who played as a midfielder and a current manager. Playing career During his career Kobelev played for FC Dynamo Moscow (three spells, more than 250 Russian Premier League appearances and nearly 50 goals), Real Betis and FC Zenit St. Petersburg, retiring at 34. With the Spanish side, he played in two Segunda División seasons, and was still in roster for the 1994–95 campaign, but failed to compete in La Liga. Kobelev was capped for Russia once. Additionally, he helped win the 1985 UEFA European Under-16 Football Championship and the 1990 Under-21 European Championship. Coaching career In 2006, Kobelev took up coaching, starting with his first team Dynamo Moscow following the sacking of Yuri Semin due to poor results. FC Krylia Sovetov Samara
PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara (russian: Профессиональный футбольный клуб «Крылья Советов» Самара) is a football club from Russia based in Samara. It returned to the Russian Premier League for the 2021–22 season. In 2004, they finished third in the Russian Premier League. History Krylia Sovetov was founded in Kuybyshev (now Samara) in 1942. On 21 April 1946 the team played its first match in the highest division in the USSR in Alma-Ata, in which they lost 1–2 to Zenit Leningrad. Krylia Sovetov participated in 48 seasons of the Soviet Top League and 13 in the Russian Premier League, as well as 43 USSR Cups and 13 Russian Cups. On 6 July 2002 Krylia Sovetov first played in a European competition, in the second round of the UEFA Intertoto Cup. Aleksandr Valeryevich Tsygankov (russian: Александр Валерьевич Цыганков; born 9 February 1968) is a Russian professional football coach and a former player. Coaching career Following resignation of Andrey Kobelev from manager position on November 15, 2012, Tsygankov was appointed as caretaker manager of FC Krylia Sovetov Samara for the first time. The 2012–13 Russian Premier League was the 21st season of the Russian football championship since the dissolution of the Soviet Union and 11th under the current Russian Premier League name. It began on 21 July 2012 and ended on 26 May 2013, with a winter break between the weekends around 13 December 2012 and 10 March 2013. 16 teams from 12 cities compete in the season, with Zenit St. Petersburg as defending champions. For the first time since 2005, no Siberian clubs take part. This was the first season in Russian football history to be played on the basis of the autumn/spring calendar, rather than the spring/autumn schedule traditionally used in Russia due to climate conditions.
