Andreas Onea
Andreas Daniel Onea (born 9 July 1992) is an Austrian Paralympic swimmer. He represented Austria at the Summer Paralympics in 2012, 2016 and 2020. In 2016, he won the bronze medal in the men's 100 metre breaststroke SB8 event. Career At the 2013 World Championships, he won the silver medal in the men's 100 metre breaststroke SB8 event. Two years later, at the 2015 World Championships, he won the bronze medal in the same event. At the 2016 IPC Swimming European Championships he won a silver medal in the men's 100m breaststroke SB8 and a bronze medal in the 200m individual medley SB8 event. At the 2018 World Para Swimming European Championships he won a bronze medal in the men's 100 metres butterfly S8 event and a silver medal in the men's 200 metres individual medley S8 event. Zwettl
__NOTOC__ Zwettl (; Central Bavarian: ''Zwedl''; Czech: ''Světlá'') is a town and district capital of the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It is chiefly known as the location of Zwettl Abbey, first mentioned in October 1139. History The name originates from Slavic languages, Slavic "''svetla''" meaning "glade (geography), glade". Although the etymology suggests an early population of Slavic people no archeological evidence has been found yet. Zwettl was founded by the knights of Kuenringer, Kuenring and was first mentioned in a monastery record in 1139. It was granted town privileges on December 28, 1200. Today, the Cistercian convent in Zwettl houses the only remaining manuscript of the life of the beguine mystic Agnes Blannbekin. Geography Zwettl has a total area of 98.9 square miles (256.7 km²). The International Paralympic Committee (IPC; german: Internationales Paralympisches Komitee) is an international non-profit organisation and the global governing body for the Paralympic Movement. The IPC organizes the Paralympic Games and functions as the international federation for nine sports. 2015 IPC Swimming World Championships
The 2015 IPC Swimming World Championships was an international swimming competition for athletes with a disability. It was held in Glasgow, United Kingdom and took place from 13 to 19 July. Around 580 athletes from around 70 countries competed at the games, with Russia topping the tables with most gold medals and medals won. The event was held at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre located within Tollcross Park in Glasgow. Initially awarded as the IPC Swimming European Championships, the event was upgraded to a World Championship after a change to the IPC calendar. This proved to be the final event branded as the "IPC Swimming World Championships".
