Per Andreas Mattsson, (born 10 April 1967) is a Swedish singer perhaps best known as the lead singer of the band Popsicle. He has also had a solo career. Popsicle (band)
Popsicle was a Swedish pop music, pop group in Piteå, Sweden, which together with This Perfect Day (band), This Perfect Day, The Wannadies and Brainpool (band), Brainpool started the 1990s indiepop wave in Sweden. History The band's four members, Andreas Mattsson (vocals, guitar), Fredrik Norberg (guitar, vocals), PA Wikander (drums) and Kenneth Wikstrom (Bass guitar, bass), later replaced by Arvid Lind, formed the band in Stockholm in 1991 and released their first mini-album ''Template (album), Template'' (1992) on Skellefteå label A West Side Fabrication. Later that year they issued ''Lacquer (album), Lacquer'' which reached number 34 in the national charts and included the song "Hey Princess". The album was well received by both critics and record buyers and won a Grammis, Grammis Award. Så Mycket Bättre
Så mycket bättre (, "So Much Better") is a Swedish reality television show that airs on TV4 (Sweden), TV4. The basic premise is that each artist attempts to do their own version of another artist's well-known songs, with each person getting an episode featuring all of their songs being performed by the other musicians. The artists spend eight days together at a hotel in Gotland, where they attempt to put their own stamps on the songs. The first series premiered on 23 October 2010 and featured Lasse Berghagen, Lill-Babs, Barbro "Lill-Babs" Svensson, Petter Askergren, Thomas Di Leva, September (singer), September, Christer Sandelin and Plura Jonsson. TV4 (Sweden)
TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. It started broadcasting by satellite in 1990 and, since 1992, on terrestrial television. In 1994, TV4 became the largest channel and remained so for a number of years. The two channels of Sveriges Television (SVT) lost more and more viewers for a couple of years. After making schedule changes in 2001, SVT1 had practically the same numbers of viewers as TV4. From 2004 to 2019, the TV4 Group was a fully active member of the European Broadcasting Union. History TV4 was launched on 15 September 1990. The channel invested in an extensive news organisation and Swedish drama series. The premiere suffered from technical faults and the drama series weren't popular with critics. Sverigetopplistan (, lit. "the Sweden top list") is the Swedish national record chart, formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and known by its current name since October 2007, based on sales data from the Swedish Recording Industry Association (in Swedish Grammofonleverantörernas förening). Before Topplistan, music sales in Sweden were recorded by Kvällstoppen, whose weekly chart was a combined albums and singles list.
