Andrea Figallo
Andrea Figallo is an Italian vocal coach, vocalist and producer. Career Figallo has been involved for many years in the vocal a cappella music scene, teaching voice, coaching choirs, conducting, arranging, adjudicating vocal contests and holding workshops on many subjects: singing bass, vocal percussion, vocal group singing and ''all things vocal''. He a member of the Wise Guys (band) and the Flying Pickets. He's also founder of The Ghost Files, a vocal studio project dedicated to original vocal music recordings. He is a freelance conductor working all over Europe. From June 2012 to June 2013 he was the musical director of the choir don camillo chor, Munich. His original choral music is published by Edition Ferrimontana GmbH and Helbling GmbH. Wise Guys (band)
The Wise Guys were a German a capella band that was formed in 1990 in Cologne, Germany and split in 2017. History of the group Apart from Nils Olfert and Björn Sterzenbach, the members all attended the Hildegard-von-Bingen-Gymnasium in Cologne from 1981 to 1990. With their schoolmates Clemens Tewinkel and Christoph Tettinger, who also founded a brass band with them, they formed a rock band. At a school event, the band performed a single a cappella song. After graduating from high school with their A-levels (Abitur) in 1990, the group focussed on the a cappella genre. They soon named themselves the ''"Wise Guys"''. Eddi (Edzard) joined an 18-month alternative service for conscientious objectors in Brussels, which left the group as a quartet. The remaining four joined the Ersten Kölner Barbershop Choir. A vocal coach, also known as a voice coach (though this term often applies to those working with speech and communication rather than singing), is a music teacher, usually a piano accompanist, who helps singers prepare for a performance, often also helping them to improve their singing technique and take care of and develop their voice, but is not the same as a singing teacher (also called a "voice teacher").
