Andrea Compagno
Andrea Compagno (born 22 April 1996) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Liga I club FCSB. Career Early career / San Marino Born in Sicily, Compagno spent his formative years in the local academies of Palermo and Catania. He started out his senior career with several Serie D teams—namely Due Torri, Pinerolo, Argentina Arma, Borgosesia and Nuorese. In 2018, Compagno moved to San Marino with Tre Fiori. He netted 37 goals from 41 matches in all competitions, and also won the Coppa Titano and the Super Coppa Sammarinese during his stint. Romania In the summer of 2020, Compagno joined Romanian Liga II side FC U Craiova. He amassed seven goals in 22 appearances during his first season, as they became league champions and achieved promotion to the top flight. The 2021–22 Liga I (also known as Casa Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons) is the 104th season of the Liga I, the top professional league for Romanian association football clubs. The season started on 15 July 2021 and is scheduled to end in May 2022. It is the sixth to take place since the play-off/play-out rule has been introduced, and the second since the 2005–06 season to feature 16 teams. CFR Cluj are the four-time defending champions. The play-off/play-out rule is the same as in the previous season, the first six teams at the regular season will qualify for the play-off tournament and the last 10 for the play-out. The 2019–20 Campionato Sammarinese di Calcio was the 35th edition of the league competition in San Marino, where the country's top 15 amateur football clubs play. The season began on 20 September 2019. Tre Penne were the defending champions after defeating La Fiorita in the previous season's final. The competition was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic in San Marino. Based on league position at the time of abandonment, Tre Fiori were declared champions and selected to play in the 2020–21 UEFA Champions League. Folgore and Tre Penne were selected to play in the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League. In July, UEFA informed the FSGC that Folgore was ineligible to obtain the UEFA licence.
