Andre Tabayoyon
Andre Tabayoyon is a former member of the Church of Scientology who is primarily known for an affidavit in which he describes the inner workings of the Church. Among other things, he states in his affidavit that he was formerly in charge of security at the Church's Gold Base near Hemet, California. He gave testimony about the COS in an affidavit introduced as evidence in the case '' Church of Scientology International v. Fishman and Geertz''. In his 60-page affidavit, he states that the COS trained him in psychological techniques to create obedience through the use of terror. Tabayoyon gave examples of people being driven insane by the "higher levels" of Hubbard's teaching and even said that this is sometimes done intentionally. Gilman Hot Springs is an unincorporated community in Riverside County, California. It lies along California State Route 79, adjacent to the San Jacinto campus of Mt. San Jacinto College. Geography Potrero Creek exits Massacre Canyon and joins the San Jacinto River at Gilman Hot Springs, just above California State Route 79, with Potero Creek delivering a large amount of sediment that creates an alluvial fan as well as periodically contributing to the flooding of the roadway. History Pre-settlement, it was the site of a village called ''Ivah'' that was occupied by what are now called the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians. David Miscavige
David Miscavige (; born April 30, 1960) is the leader of the Church of Scientology and, according to the organization, "Captain of the Sea Org". His official title within the organization is Chairman of the Board of the Religious Technology Center (RTC), a corporation that controls the trademarks and copyrights of Dianetics and Scientology. Miscavige was a deputy to Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard as a teenager. He joined the Sea Org, a management group for the Scientology organization, then later joined the Commodore's Messenger Organization, a group within the Sea Org that carried Hubbard's orders to subordinates. He rose to a leadership position by the early 1980s and was named "Chairman of the Board" of RTC in 1987, the year after Hubbard's death. Rehabilitation Project Force
The Rehabilitation Project Force, or RPF, is the Church of Scientology's program for members of its Sea Organization who have allegedly violated expectations or policies. This may include members who are deemed to have hidden evil intentions towards Scientology, members who are unproductive in their work or who produce poor-quality work. The program includes manual labor tasks and the study of L. Ron Hubbard's works. The rehabilitation program may take more than a year to complete, and the Church has been accused of overworking and mistreating its participants. Critics have characterized the RPF as a forced labor and re-indoctrination program comparable to the Soviet gulag system.
