Andre Barrett
Andre Rashawd Barrett (born February 21, 1982) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Obras Sanitarias of the Liga Nacional de Básquet. He played college basketball for Seton Hall. Professional career Barrett was undrafted following a college basketball career at Seton Hall University, and he began his professional career by signing prior to the start of the 2004–05 National Basketball Association season as a free agent with the New York Knicks. He played with the Knicks for three weeks before being waived during the pre-season. He then signed with the Houston Rockets, and he later went on to play for the Orlando Magic. On September 27, 2005, the Milwaukee Bucks signed Barrett to an undisclosed free agent contract. He participated in eight preseason games with the team, however, he was waived prior to the start of the 2005–2006 season on October 27. FC Barcelona Bàsquet (English: FC Barcelona Basketball), commonly referred to as FC Barcelona () and colloquially known as Barça (), is a professional basketball club based in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The Sioux Falls Skyforce are an American professional basketball team of the NBA G League based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and are affiliated with the Miami Heat. The team plays their home games in the Sanford Pentagon, a place they have called home since the 2013–14 season. The Sioux Falls Skyforce is the longest-running minor-league basketball team in the United States. The Skyforce began in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA) in 1989. The ''Parade'' All-America Boys Basketball Team was an annual selection by ''Parade'' that nationally honored the top high school boys' basketball players in the United States. It was part of the ''Parade'' All-American series that originated with boys basketball before branching to other sports. Started by the Sunday magazine in 1957, it had been the longest ongoing selection of high school basketball All-Americans in the country at the time of its final selections in 2015. The 2000 McDonald's All-American Boys Game was an All-star basketball game played on Wednesday, March 29, 2000 at the FleetCenter in Boston, Massachusetts. The game's rosters featured the best and most highly recruited high school boys graduating in 2000. McDonald's All-American Game
The McDonald's All-American Game is the all-star basketball game played each year for American and Canadian boys' and girls' high school basketball graduates. Consisting of the top players, each team plays a single exhibition game after the conclusion of the high-school basketball season, in an East vs. West format. As part of the annual event, boys and girls compete in a slam dunk contest and a three-point shooting competition, and compete alongside All-American Game alumni in a timed team shootout. The last of these competitions replaced separate overall timed skills competitions for boys and girls. It is rare for girls to compete in the slam dunk contest. Haggerty Award is given to the All-New York Metropolitan NCAA Division I men's college basketball player of the year, presented by the National Invitation Tournament (NIT) and the Met Basketball Writers Association (MBWA). First presented in 1936, it is arguably the oldest and most prestigious award given to a metropolitan area player. Two schools with previous winners are no longer classified as Division I – CCNY and NYU are now Division III and are therefore ineligible to have future winners.
