Andorrà Open
The Andorrà Open is a WTA 125-level professional women's tennis tournament. It takes place on indoor hard courts, in the months of November-December at the Poliesportiu d'Andorra in the city of Andorra la Vella in the principality of Andorra. The prize money is $115,000, making it the biggest ever tennis tournament to have been held in Andorra. Prior to this event, an ATP Challenger tournament was also held on outdoor hard courts at the Club Tennis Santa Coloma in Andorra la Vella between 2000 and 2004. Wang Yeu-tzuoo (), who also goes by Jimmy Wang, (born February 8, 1985) is a professional tennis player from Taiwan. Rik de Voest (born 5 June 1980) is a former professional South African tennis player. He achieved his career-high singles ranking of world No. 110 in August 2006. Rik resides in Vancouver, Canada where he pursues a career in real estate. De Voest qualified for the 2007 Wimbledon Championships where he lost to Marat Safin in the first round. Ricardo Mello (born 21 December 1980) is a Brazilian retired tennis player. His preference is for clay courts. He has had the occasional win in hard court tournaments. His best singles rank was No. 50 in 2005. He won one singles tournament (Delray Beach in 2004) and reached the semifinals three times at the Brasil Open. Jairo Velasco Jr. (born 21 January 1974) is a former Spanish professional tennis player. His father, Jairo Velasco Sr., was a Colombian tennis player, who emigrated to Spain. Denis Golovanov
Denis Yuryevich Golovanov (russian: Дени́с Ю́рьевич Голова́нов; born 27 March 1979) is a former professional tennis player from Russia. In 2002, he won the Hull challenger event, defeating future top 20 players David Ferrer and Ivo Karlovic in the first two rounds. Career Golovanov failed to make it through qualifying for the 2002 Wimbledon Championships but was given entry into the main draw as a lucky loser, after British wild card James Auckland withdrew with an injury. He faced fellow lucky loser George Bastl in the first round. Bastl, who went on to upset Pete Sampras, defeated Golovanov in straight sets. Rebecca Peterson (born 6 August 1995) is a Swedish tennis player. She has been ranked as high as 43 in singles and 87 in doubles by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).
