Andi Kyriacou
Andi Kyriacou (born 4 January 1983) is an English-born, Irish-qualified former rugby union player and current coach. Kyriacou played as a Hooker (rugby union), hooker for Sale Sharks, Leeds Tykes, Leeds Carnegie, Saracens F.C., Saracens, Munster Rugby, Munster, Ulster Rugby, Ulster, and Cardiff Blues before moving into coaching. United Rugby Championship
The United Rugby Championship (URC) is an annual rugby union competition involving professional teams from Ireland, Italy, Scotland, South Africa, and Wales. The current name was adopted in 2021 when the league expanded to include four South African teams previously from the SANZAR Super Rugby competition. The league is one of the three major professional leagues in Europe (along with the English Premiership Rugby, Premiership and the French Top 14), the most successful teams from which go forward to compete in the European Rugby Champions Cup. Declan Kidney
Declan Kidney (born 20 October 1959) is an Irish rugby union coach. He was the head coach of the Ireland national rugby union team from 2008 to 2013, where he won the 2009 Six Nations with a Grand Slam, winning the 2009 IRB Coach of the Year award. He was also the head coach at Munster, leading them to four Heineken Cup finals, winning twice in 2006 and 2008. He is currently Director of Rugby at London Irish. Early life Kidney was born in Bishopstown, County Cork. He played rugby for UCC and later for Dolphin RFC. Shane Byrne (rugby Union)
James Shane Byrne (born 18 July 1971) is a former Irish rugby union hooker. He is nicknamed 'Munch' or 'Mullet' (a reference to his hair style). A native of Aughrim, County Wicklow, Byrne played Gaelic football up to under-16 level with the local Aughrim club. He attended Blackrock College in Dublin. Career He plied his trade for many years at Leinster. His international career started comparatively late and did not blossom until the retirement of Keith Wood. When he eventually got his chance in a World Cup qualifier in Romania in 2001 he took it and thereafter became a fixture in the national side where he won 41 caps between 2001 and 2005, scoring three tries. Fabio Ongaro (born 23 September 1977 in Venice) is an Italian rugby union footballer. Although he now plays as a hooker, he played in the Italian youth teams as a flanker. Career Ongaro first played for Rugby Casale (1994/95-1997/98), spending the most prolific time of his career at Benetton Rugby, Benetton Treviso (1998/99-2005/06), where he won 5 Italian Championships (1998/99, 2000/01, 2002/03, 2003/04 and 2005/06), a Cup of Italy (2004/05) and a Supercup (2006). Crociati Parma Rugby FC
Crociati Parma Rugby F.C. are an Italian rugby union club. They are based in Parma in Emilia-Romagna. They were founded in 2010 by the merger of Rugby Parma F.C. (''Overmach Parma'') and F.C. Rugby Noceto and disbanded in 2014. Rugby Parma ''Rugby Parma'' was founded in 1931 by Gianni Penzi, Mario Pirazzoli and Peter Zini. Matt Cairns
Matt Cairns (born 31 March 1979) is a former rugby union footballer who played at hooker for Harlequins and has been capped for the England national side as well as representing England in the Saxons and Sevens teams as well as at several age group levels. He also played for a season with Sale Sharks and has had two spells with Saracens. He retired on 14 February 2012 due to medical advice. Kevin Yates (born 6 November 1972 in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada) is an English rugby union player who plays at Prop for Nice in the French Fédérale 1. Yates professional career began at Bath. He was a member of the side that won the 1995/96 Zurich Premiership. He also played in the 1998 Heineken Cup Semi-final against Pau, but did not feature in the final against CA Brive. Iain Fullarton
Iain Fullarton (born 25 April 1976) is a former Scottish rugby union player. His regular playing position was Lock. Club career Fullarton was educated at St. Mary's School, Melrose, Merchiston Castle School and the University of Aberdeen. While at Merchiston Castle School he appeared for the Scottish schools side. Fullarton turned professional with Edinburgh Reivers and has since played for Sale Sharks. He signed for Saracens in 2004. In June 2008 he signed a two-year deal to play for London Scottish. Alex Sanderson
Alexander Sanderson (born 7 October 1979 in Chester) is an English former rugby union footballer who played in the back row during the 1990s and 2000s for Saracens and Sale Sharks. He is the brother of Pat Sanderson who also played rugby for Littleborough RUFC. He is currently Director of Rugby at Sale Sharks. His rugby career blossomed under coach Brian Gornall at Kirkham Grammar School.
