''Anderson'' is a studio album by American singer-songwriter Bill Anderson. It was released on September 14, 2018 via TWI Records. The project was co-produced by Anderson, Peter Cooper and Thomm Jutz. Consisting of 11 tracks, the album was Anderson's 44th studio release in recording career. It contained two singles "Everybody Wants to Be Twenty-One" and "Waffle House Christmas". Background and content Anderson recalled that his co-producers envisioned the album's release and its production. "I know I’ve never enjoyed the recording process more than working here with Thomm Jutz and Peter Cooper. They had the vision…I just tried to follow their lead and bring their ideas to life. I only hope that as folks listen, they’ll feel we succeeded," he said. The album was a collection of 11 tracks, all of which were written or co-written by Anderson himself. Bill Anderson (singer)
James William Anderson III (born November 1, 1937), known professionally as Bill Anderson, is an American country music singer, songwriter, and television host. His soft-spoken singing voice was given the nickname "Whispering Bill" by music critics and writers. As a songwriter, his compositions have been covered by various music artists since the late 1950s, including Ray Price and George Strait. Anderson was raised in Decatur, Georgia, and began composing songs while in high school. While enrolled in college, he wrote the song " City Lights", which later became a major hit for Ray Price in 1958. His songwriting led to his first recording contract with Decca Records the same year. Anderson began having major hits shortly thereafter. Timothy Ray Rushlow (born October 6, 1966) is an American recording artist. Between 1991 and 1997, Rushlow was lead vocalist of country music group Little Texas, which recorded four albums and a Greatest Hits package, in addition to charting more than fifteen singles on the ''Billboard'' country singles charts during Rushlow's tenure as lead vocalist. After Little Texas disbanded in 1997, Rushlow began a solo career. His first recording was the musical track "Totally Committed" on comedian Jeff Foxworthy's 1998 album of the same name. David Lowell Gibson (born October 1, 1946) is an American country music songwriter. Gibson has written songs for Alabama, Tanya Tucker, and others. John Paul White (born August 4, 1972) is an American singer-songwriter, and was a member of the Grammy Award-winning duo The Civil Wars. He restarted his solo career with his 2016 release, ''Beulah''. Early life White was born in Muscle Shoals, Alabama and grew up in Loretto, Tennessee, on a chicken farm.
