Anders Åkesson
''Anders'' Ingemar Åkesson, (born 28 November 1958) is a Swedish politician and member of the Riksdag for the Center Party since 2006. He is currently taking up seat number 11 for the constituency of Kalmar County. Åkesson has been a headteacher for . From 2004 until 2006 he was a spokesperson in the Regional Association of Kalmar County. As a newly elected member of parliament, he became a member of the Committee on Cultural Affairs in 2006 and an alternate for the Committee on Foreign Affairs. After the 2010 general election he left both committees to join the Committee on Transport and Communications and the War Delegation along with becoming an alternate for the election committee (). Jessica Emilia Marie Rosencrantz, née ''Andersson'', (born6 October 1987) is a Swedish politician for the Moderate Party, and a minister of the Riksdag since 2010. 2018 Swedish General Election
General elections were held in Sweden on 9 September 2018 to elect the 349 members of the Riksdag. Regional and municipal elections were also held on the same day. The incumbent minority government, consisting of the Social Democrats and the Greens and supported by the Left Party, won 144 seats, one seat more than the four-party Alliance coalition, with the Sweden Democrats winning the remaining 62 seats. The Social Democrats' vote share fell to 28.3 percent, its lowest level of support since 1911. The main opposition, the Moderates, lost even more support. The Sweden Democrats made gains, though less than anticipated. War Delegation
The War Delegation ( sv, krigsdelegationen, or ''KD'') is a standing committee of the Riksdag, with its functions enumerated in the Instrument of Government and the Riksdag Act, with the purpose of replacing the Riksdag as a whole whenever Sweden is at war or is otherwise exposed to a serious threat or crisis. The War Delegation is chaired by the Speaker of the Riksdag and has fifty members who are elected following each general election, for a total of 51 members. The Delegation has roughly the same powers as the Riksdag, but may not call snap elections or suspend ordinary elections. If Sweden is at war the members of the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs can, if possible after consultation with the Prime minister of Sweden, enact that the delegation will take the place of the Riksdag. Kalmar County ( sv, Kalmar Län) is one of the 29 multi-member constituencies of the Riksdag, the national legislature of Sweden. The constituency was established in 1970 when the Riksdag changed from a bicameral legislature to a unicameral legislature. It is conterminous with the county of Kalmar.
