Anders Nilsen (born 1973) is an American cartoonist who lives in Los Angeles, California. Biography Nilsen graduated with an art degree from the University of New Mexico in 1996.Nilsen, Anders. "Afterword," ''Big Questions, or Asomatognosia'' (Drawn & Quarterly, June 2011), p. 589. He moved to Chicago in 1999 to get a Master of Fine Arts in painting, but dropped out after one year. Nilsen's comics have appeared in the anthologies ''Kramers Ergot'' and '' Mome''. His graphic novel ''Dogs and Water'' won an Ignatz Award in 2005. An excerpt from '' Dogs and Water '' was featured in the inaugural 2006 edition of the ''Best American Comics'' anthology, and the book was expanded and reissued in hardcover in 2007. In 2007, Nilsen won an Ignatz Award for his graphic memoir, ''Don't Go Where I Can't Follow,'' and in 2012, he won an Ignatz Award for ''Big Questions'', a collected edition of his comic book series. Anders Nilsen (musician)
Anders Nilsen (born June 23, 1988) is a Norwegian songwriter and music producer from Stavanger, who has written and produced for R3HAB, Timmy Trumpet, Matoma, IVE and W&W, and currently has eight #1 singles in his home country Norway. In 2013 he got a large following on the "Vine" app where he made 6 second songs, which later resulted in him being cast for a SNL like TV-show called "Torsdag Kveld Fra Nydalen". It was however with his hit " Salsa Tequila", an attempt to write a song in Spanish without actually knowing Spanish (No hablo Español, as he says in the single's lyrics) that he gained fame and an international dance hit that has charted in Norway, Netherlands and Belgium. Anders Nilsen Næsset
Anders Nilsen Næsset (1 April 1872 in Uthaug, Ørland, Norway – 1949) was a Norwegian fisherman, one of the founders of the Norwegian Fishermen's Association and from 1931 to 1933, a Member of Norwegian Parliament. Life Næsset started as a fisherman at 16-year-old becoming a captain at 18. From 1892 to 1930 he fished herring. In addition he was a councilor from 1916 to 1940 and from 1945 to 1949. Very early on, he cofounded the Ørlands Fishermen Association in 1896 and was a co-founder of the Norwegian Fishermen's Association in 1926 becoming its deputy leader from time of establishment in 1926 until 1931 and its chairman from 1931 until 1937. He also held the position of president of the Sør-Trøndelag Fishermen's Association from 1922 to 1947. He received the King's Gold Medal of Merit for his services. Anders Nilsen Wiborg
Anders Nilsen Wiborg (c. 1655 – 1718) was the fourth commander of the Christiansfjeld Fortress in Norway. He commanded from 15 January 1717 until his death at Kongsvinger during the Great Northern War on 10 October 1718. He became a second lieutenant (''Fähnrich'') in the Oppland National Infantry Regiment in 1678. This would place his birth about 1655. He became a ''Sekondløytnanat'' in the ''Fåbergske'' Company in 1682. He became a First Lieutenant in 1685. In 1697 he became a Lieutenant Captain in the South Hedemark National Guard Company. Later that year he became Captain and commander of the Osterdal Company, which was sent to Denmark in 1714 under orders of the Danish King. Charles XII of Sweden attacked Norway in the summer of 1716; the attack had been expected for a long time.
