''Andaz'' () is a 1949 Indian Hindi language romantic drama film, directed by Mehboob Khan, with music by Naushad. The film stars Nargis, Dilip Kumar, and Raj Kapoor in a love triangle, with Cukoo and Murad in supporting roles. The film's music was provided by Naushad and lyrics written by Majrooh Sultanpuri. It is the only film to feature Dilip Kumar and Raj Kapoor together onscreen. At the time of its release, ''Andaz'' was the highest-grossing Indian film ever, until its record was broken by Raj Kapoor's '' Barsaat'' that same year. ''Barsaat'' (English: ''Rain'') is a 1949 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Raj Kapoor. The film stars the famous duo of Kapoor and Nargis as well as Prem Nath. ''Mela'' () is a 1948 Indian Hindi-language romantic tragedy film. It was produced by and directed by S.U. Sunny for Wadia Movietone. It starred Dilip Kumar, Nargis, Jeevan, Rehman and Nur Jehan. Cuckoo Moray, also credited as Cuckoo or Cukoo (1928 – 30 September 1981), was an Anglo-Indian dancer and actress in Indian cinema. Cuckoo was the queen of film dancing in Hindi cinema of the 1940s and 1950s.
