Anconitana
Associazione Calcio Ancona, commonly referred to as Ancona, was an Italian football club based in Ancona, Marche. It was founded in 2004 as the phoenix club of defunct 1905 club Unione Sportiva Anconitana, which changed its name to Ancona Calcio in 1982. It used clause in the Article 52 of N.O.I.F.) with its last denomination. In 2010 it went bankrupt. Another club of the city, U.S. Ancona 1905 claimed as the phoenix club. Unione Sportiva Ancona, commonly referred to as Ancona, is an Italian football club based in Ancona, Marche. The club is widely considered to be the heir of defunct former Serie A club Ancona, with whom it shares its official historical logo. History The club was founded in 2021 as the merger of Serie C club S.S. Matelica Calcio 1921, from the city of Matelica, with Ancona-based Eccellenza club Anconitana. As part of the merger, all logos and naming rights of Matelica were given away to Prima Categoria club G.S. Vincenzo Guerini (; born 30 October 1953) is an Italian football manager and former player who played as a midfielder, currently in charge as the technical area chief of Catania. Playing career Club Guerini's playing career started at Brescia, playing as a regular in the Serie B division. In 1973, he was signed by Serie A club Fiorentina, where he emerged as a young but promising attacking midfielder and won the 1975 Coppa Italia thanks to a goal of his in the final against Milan. His career was however cut short in 1976 after suffering a severe car accident that almost left him impaired.
