Anbe Deivam
''Anbe Deivam'' () is a 1957 Indian Tamil-language film directed by R. Nagendra Rao. The film stars him alongside M. K. Radha, K. Sarangapani and Sriranjani Jr. Plot Mohan Rao is a film producer. He lives with his wife. A couple and their child daughter Uma live in the neighbourhood. The husband is a rogue. He plans to rob the film producer. While he is executing his plan he kills someone. His wife takes the blame, but both are imprisoned. Mohan Rao and his wife adopt Uma. Time goes and Uma becomes a young woman. She is in love with a youth who is the son of a police officer. Uma's parents are released and they return home. Her father observes that Uma is living comfortably and that she is going to marry. He tries to blackmail Mohan Rao and get money. Uma's marriage is fixed. On the wedding day her father tries to create problems in order to stop the marriage. How he is exposed and how Uma's wedding takes place forms the rest of the story. Sriranjani Jr
Sriranjani (22 February 1927 – 27 April 1974) was an Indian actress active in Telugu and Tamil films. She was the younger sister of Sriranjani (actress), Sriranjani. She is known mainly for her tragedy roles particularly as the long-suffering wife. Life in Brief Sriranjani was born in Murikipudi village of Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh. Her elder sister, Senior Sriranjani was also an actress and is the first Sita of the Telugu screen. Her birth name is Mahalakshmi. She had grown up with her elder sister and developed interest in movies and acting. Chitrapu Narayana Murthy encouraged her and gave her chance to act in the film ''Bhishma'' in 1944. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil language, Tamil-language Weekly (news magazine), weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil language, Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Kalki Sadasivam, T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. The magazine is known for its publication of historic novels such as ''Ponniyin Selvan'' and ''Sivagamiyin Sabadham''. Singer Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, guru of M S Subbulakshmi, and music critic S V Seshadri were also involved with the magazine in its coverage of music. Vijaya Bhaskar ( kan, ವಿಜಯಭಾಸ್ಕರ್; 1924–2002) was an Indian music director and composer who composed music for several mainstream and experimental feature films in the Kannada film industry. Scoring music for over 600 feature films, Bhaskar worked in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Tulu and Konkani language films as well. He was a part of all of popular Kannada film director KSL Swamy's (Ravi) movies and was also known for his association with acclaimed directors Puttanna Kanagal and Adoor Gopalakrishnan. Influenced by R C Boral and Mukul Mehta, Bhaskar developed his own style of music and introduced the concept of theme music in Kannada film industry. Lakshman Sruthi - The Musical Consortium was founded by V. Raman & V. Lakshmanan in the year 2003. Lakshman Sruthi Orchestra The Lakshman Sruthi Orchestra is a Manual Orchestra founded by V. Lakshmanan in the name of Sruthi Innisai mazhai in 1987 with 10 students; since then, it has performed over 7,800 times in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and across the world. This orchestra maintains completely manual orchestration: it does not use synthesizers or any other electronic equipment. It was the first orchestra to carry out a 36-hour non-stop light music performance on 17–18 December 1994 at Kamarajar Arangam in Chennai, India. In doing so, it set a world record.
