Anavitória
Anavitória (Brazilian Portuguese: /ɐnɐviˈtɔɾjɐ/) is a Brazilian musical duo consisting of Ana Clara Caetano Costa and Vitória Fernandes Falcão. Formed in 2015, Anavitória debuted with an EP produced by Tiago Iorc after being discovered by Iorc's then manager Felipe Simas. They have released a total of four albums, two of which were nominated for Best Contemporary Pop Album at the Grammys. The duo have worked with multiple artists in the Brazilian music scene including Nando Reis and Rita Lee. History 2014–2015 Both Caetano and Falcão studied in the same school in Araguaína, so they met and started recording covers for YouTube. One of the songs they recorded was "Um Dia Após o Outro" by Tiago Iorc and they sent it to the artist's manager Felipe Simas. So Iorc created the seal "Forasteiro" in partnership with his manager to launch outstanding artists. ''O Tempo É Agora'' ( en, The Time Is Now) is the second studio album by Brazilian duo Anavitória, released on 3 August 2018 via Forasteiro and Universal. It was produced by Moogie Canazio and Tiago Iorc, the latter continuing his role from their first album. Em 2019, the album won the Latin Grammy for Best Portuguese Language Contemporary Pop Album. Reception Critical Pedro Antunes from ''O Estado de S. Paulo'' said "it's curious to notice how the innocence was lost. ''Cor'' (English: "color") is the fourth studio album by Brazilian duo Anavitória, released by surprise on 1 January 2021. Produced by Tó Bandileone (from 5 a Seco) and member Ana Caetano, it was prepared during the COVID-19 pandemic. All tracks in the album received videos published on YouTube and directed by Leonardo Lobo, doismilium and Gabriela de Melo, except "Eu Sei Quem É Você", directed by Belle. The album cover was taken from the video for the opening track "Amarelo, Azul e Branco". Production The album was recorded in Itaipava, a neighborhood of Petrópolis, a city in the mountainous regions of the state of Rio de Janeiro. Its title came to Ana Caetano's mind during a trip between Petrolina (Pernambuco) and Juazeiro do Norte (Ceará) on 14 December 2019. Tiago Iorczeski (born November 28, 1985) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and record producer. As a child, he lived in England and in the United States. Despite having no musical background in his family, Tiago started playing the acoustic guitar at age 8. In 2007 his single "Nothing but a Song" gained popularity and led to the release of his debut album '' Let Yourself In'', which gained notoriety after several of Tiago's songs were featured on Brazilian primetime soap operas, TV ads, and films. Tiago started touring across the country, and in 2009, was the opening act on Jason Mraz's Brazilian Tour.
