Anastasia Shlyakhovaya
Anastasia Sergeyevna Samoilenko, née Shlyakhovaya (''russian: Анастасия Сергеевна Самойленко'', born in Zhovtneve) is a Russian volleyball player. She was part of the Russia women's national volleyball team at the 2013 Summer Universiade in Kazan, the Montreux Volley Masters (in 2013, 2014), the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix (in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016), the 2013 Women's European Volleyball Championship in Germany and Switzerland, and the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. At club level, she played for Ufimochka and Omichka before joining Dinamo Krasnodar in 2015. Personal life She married basketball player Bogdan Samoilenko in December 2014. Montreux Volley Masters
The Montreux Volley Masters (founded as the Coupe des Nations, later changed to BCV Volley Cup between 1990 and 1996 and to its current name in 1998) is an international invitational tournament for national teams in women's volleyball hosted by the Swiss Volley. Held annually in Montreux, Switzerland since 1984, it is the tournament that opens the international season for national teams. The main objective of this competition is to work as a preparation for more important and prestigious volleyball tournaments organized by the ''Fédération Internationale de Volleyball'' ( FIVB), such as the World Grand Prix, the World Championship, the World Cup and the Olympic Games. Many national teams use the tournament as a way of giving experience and international baggage to young players and, as a result, countries are often represented by their underage national teams. It was founded in 1946 and plays in the Russian Women's Volleyball Super League, super league, the top Russian league. History Soviet years Founded in 1946, the club participated in the 1946 Soviet Women's Volleyball Championship (National championship) finishing in 11th place (out of 18 teams). From that point, the club competed only at regional level until 1955 when it returned to the National championship remaining there until 1966 when it was relegated to a lower national level. The women's tournament in volleyball at the 2016 Summer Olympics was the 14th edition of the event at an Olympic Games, organised by the world's governing body, the FIVB, in conjunction with the IOC. 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix
The 2016 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 24th edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 28 teams from 3 June to 10 July 2016. The Group 1 final round was held in Bangkok, Thailand. Brazil captured their record eleventh title in the tournament after a 3–2 win over defending champions United States. The 2014 FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix was the 22nd edition of the annual women's international volleyball tournament played by 28 countries from 25 July to 24 August 2014.
