Anastasia (TV Series)
Anastasia is a Greek TV series that was aired in season 1993-94 by Mega Channel. The series was one of the most successful series of that period. It is written by Mirella Papaeconomou and it stars Myrto Alikaki, Alkis Kourkoulos and Minas Hatzisavvas. The series was about a love triangle and was considered pretty bold for the Greek society of 1990s. The soundtrack of the series that was composed by Dimitris Papadimitriou and performed by Eleftheria Arvanitaki, became the first platinum certified TV soundtrack in Greece. Plot Anastasia is a young woman who works as model and studies acting. The plot is about her parallel relationship with both a young man and his father. This relationship upsets the family relationships between these two men. Mirella Papaeconomou
Mirella Papaeconomou, born in Athens, is a Greek screenwriter for TV series. She has studied English literature and set and costume design in London, as well as set and costume design and advertising in Vacalo Arts and Design College, in Athens. She has worked for the theatre as production designer. Her first screenplay was written in 1984. Since 1984 she has written many screenplays for TV series that have become great hits. She has won two "Prosopa" Greek Television Awards for the series ''Logo Timis'' and ''I Zoi pou Den Ezisa I, or i, is the ninth letter and the third vowel letter of the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and others worldwide. Myrto Alikaki
Myrto (; el, Μυρτώ; fl. 5th century BC) was, according to some accounts, a wife of Socrates. Sources The original source for the claim that she was Socrates' wife appears to have been a work by Aristotle called ''On Being Well-Born'',Athenaeus, xiii. 555D–556APlutarch, ''Aristides'', xxvii. 3–4Diogenes Laërtius, ii. 26 although Plutarch expresses doubt that the work is genuine. She was apparently the daughter, or, more probably, the granddaughter of Aristides. A different account of Xanthippe and Myrto is given in Aristoxenus's ''Life of Socrates'' written in the latter part of the fourth century BC that Aristoxenus asserts is based on first-person accounts by his father. Minas Hatzisavvas
Minas Hatzisavvas ( gr, Μηνάς Χατζησάββας; 28 January 1948 – 30 November 2015) was a Greek actor. He appeared in many films, television series and theatre plays with great success. He initially studied in France and later at the National Theatre of Greece Drama School in Athens. He played his first role in 1965 in Ancient Theatre of Dodona. It was the role of Paris in '' Rhesus'' of Euripides. His debut in cinema was in 1970. From that point on, he appeared in many films and won four film awards as both a leading and supporting actor for the films ''Ta Paidia tou Kronou'', ''Kleisti Strofi'', ''Lilly's Story'' and Worlds apart. MEGA Channel, also known as MEGA TV or just MEGA, is a television network in Greece, that broadcasts a mix of foreign and Greek programming. It is the first and the oldest private television network in Greece. Eleftheria Arvanitaki ( Greek: Ελευθερία Αρβανιτάκη) (born 17 October 1957 in Piraeus) is a Greek folk singer. She originates from the island of Icaria.
