Anagennisi Epanomi Football Club ( el, Αναμορφωτικός Σύλλογος Αναγέννηση Επανομής) is a Greek football club based in Epanomi, Thessaloniki, Greece. The club was founded in the year 1926. In the period 1971–1972, it won the Macedonia FCA and the Greek FCA Winners' Championship, as a result of which it was promoted to Betta Ethniki, where it remained until 1982, for ten seasons. Twenty-nine years later, in the 2010-11 season, it won the championship of the northern group of the 3rd National Division, as a result of which it was promoted to the 2nd National League, where it remained for 2 years, until the 2012–13 season. From the 2013–14 season and for 10 years, he competed in the amateur championships of Macedonia FCA. In the 2014–15 season, Anagennisi finished 3rd in the 3rd group of the 1st amateur division and participated in the promotion playoffs for A1, formerly the 4th national division, without success. Epanomi
Epanomi ( el, Επανομή) is a town and was a former municipality in the Thessaloniki regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality of Thermaikos, of which it is a municipal unit. It is located 25 km away from the city center of Thessaloniki. The municipal unit includes the village of Mesimeri, with a combined population of 10,810 (2011). The municipal unit Epanomi has an area of 91.541 km2, and the community Epanomi has an area of 78.716 km2. Epanomi has a long, historic path as it is the second oldest establishment in Macedonia (Greece) after Angelochori (as archaeologist Theocharis Pazaras indicated with his work) since the area of Epanomi has been inhabited since the neolithic period. The Gamma Ethniki ( el, Γ΄ Εθνική Ερασιτεχνική Κατηγορία, C National Amateur Division) is the third highest football league in Greece. History The Gamma Ethniki began in 1965 as an amateur championship, while in 1983 it was changed to professional. Although not literally national (it is divided into ''North'' and ''South'' groups), Football League 2 is considered as a national division. On 3 August 2010, it was announced that the division had been renamed ''Football League 2''. Macedonia Football Clubs Association ( el, Ένωση Ποδοσφαιρικών Σωματείων Μακεδονίας ''Énosi Podosferikón Somatíon Makedonías'' or Ε.Π.Σ.Μ.) is an association responsible for administering football in the Prefecture of Thessaloniki. Greek FCA Winners' Championship
The FCA Winners' Championship ( el, Πρωτάθλημα Πρωταθλητριών Ε.Π.Σ.) was a Greek football league competition contested annually by the most recent winners of all local Football Clubs' Associations championships in Greece. It is not considered part of the Greek football league system, due to a lack of formal structure, requiring all local FCA championships to have been completed prior to its start. 2023–24 Gamma Ethniki
The 2023–24 Gamma Ethniki is the 41st season since the official establishment of the championship in 1983, and the third after the re-establishment as the 3rd tier of the Greek Football. The competition started on 17 September 2023, and is conducted in four groups, in contrast to 2022–23 season, when it was conducted in five groups. 72 teams are participating and 30 of them will be relegated at the end of the season. The groups were formed according to geographical criteria. After all games of the four groups are played, the champion of each group will be promoted to Super League 2. The seven last teams of each group will be relegated to Local FCA Championships and also 2 more teams will be relegated after a single play-out game in neutral ground.
