Anadolu Shipyard
Anadolu Shipyard ( tr, Anadolu Deniz İnşaat Kızakları San. ve Tic. A.Ş.) (ADİK) is a Turkish shipyard located in Tuzla, Istanbul. The shipyard mostly builds amphibious warfare ships as part of the defense industry. History Anadolu Shipyard was founded in the early 1950s. The company was initially active at Haliç Taşkızak in Golden Horn, Istanbul. In 1982, the shipyard moved to Tuzla, a district in the east of Istanbul. By December 2004, the company had been taken over by Furtrans Shipping, which was about to construct a shipyard in Yalova. In 2005, Anadolu Shipyard and Sedef Shipyard established a joint venture with the TAIS Shipyards Company at Yalova with the purpose of building, repairing and maintaining naval ships of the Turkish Navy. HSL-class Fleet Support Ship
The HSL-class fleet support vessels are a series of five fleet tanker planned to be built by Hindustan Shipyard (HSL), Visakhapatnam for the Indian Navy. The deal was signed on 25 August 2023 with an expected project completion timeline of 8 years. These ships will be an indigenous design by the Hindustan Shipyard's in-house design team. Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) is a shipyard located in Visakhapatnam on the east coast of India. History Founded as the ''Scindia Shipyard'', it was built by industrialist Walchand Hirachand as a part of The Scindia Steam Navigation Company Ltd. Walchand selected Visakhapatnam as a suitable location for the construction of the yard and took possession of the land in November 1940. The foundation stone for the shipyard was laid by Dr. Rajendra Prasad on 21 June 1941, who was at that time the acting Congress President. Bayraktar-class Tank Landing Ship
The ''Bayraktar'' class are a class of landing ship tanks (LSTs) built in Turkey.
