Ana Teresa Morales
Ana Teresa Morales Olivera (La Paz, 26 October 1959) is a Bolivian economist, professor, and politician. She was the Minister of Productive Development and Plural Economy of Bolivia from 23 January 2011, to 23 January 2015, during the second government of President Evo Morales Ayma. Biography Ana Teresa Morales was born on 26 October 1959, in the city of La Paz. She is the daughter of the renowned Potosí lawyer Manuel Morales Dávila. Teresa studied economics at the Higher University of San Andrés, graduating as an economist by profession in 1983. She has a doctorate in developmental sciences from CIDES – UMSA, and a master's degree in human development. During her career, she worked as a professor and was a consultant to various institutions on issues of productive promotion, urban poverty, and rural-urban micro-enterprises. La Paz (), officially known as Nuestra Señora de La Paz (Spanish pronunciation: ), is the seat of government of the Bolivia, Plurinational State of Bolivia. Mario Alberto Guillén Suárez (born 23 March 1968) is a Bolivian industrial engineer, lawyer, and politician who served as Minister of Economy and Public Finance from 2017 to 2019 during the administration of Evo Morales. Prior, he was Vice Minister of Pensions and Financial Services from 2009 to 2017 and served as the general manager of the Union Bank in 2019. Nemesia (sometimes written as Nemecia) Achacollo Tola is a Bolivian political and union leader. She served as the Minister of Rural Development and Lands for nearly five years, and is past president of the Bartolina Sisa National Federation of Campesino Women of Bolivia. She was appointed to the Ministry by President Evo Morales in January 2010, following a long career of union leadership in her native Santa Cruz. She served as the ambassador of Bolivia to Austria, Croatia, Hungary, and Slovakia from June to November 2019.
