Ana Hormigo
Ana Cristina Teles Meneses Hormigo (born 13 April 1981) is a Portuguese judoka, who played for the extra-lightweight category. She won a bronze medal for her division at the 2008 European Judo Championships, and eventually defeated Italy's Valentina Moscatt for the gold at the 2011 IJF World Cup in Lisbon. Hormigo is also a member of Associação Judo Clube União Albicastrense, and is coached and trained by Abel Louro. Hormigo represented Portugal at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed for the women's extra-lightweight class (48 kg). She defeated India's Devi Khumujam Tomb in the first preliminary round, before losing out her next match by a waza-ari (half-point), and an ōuchi gari (big inner reap) to North Korea's Pak Ok-Song. Castelo Branco () is an inland city and municipality in Central Portugal. It has 34,471 inhabitants in its urban area (2021) and is the seat of the district of the same name. is one of the traditional forty Throw (grappling), throws of jujutsu and Judo. It belongs to the third group (Judo Lists#Sankyo, Sankyo) of the traditional throwing list, the traditional Gokyo (no waza), and the current List_of_Kodokan_judo_techniques#Nage-waza_(throwing_techniques), 67 Throws of Kodokan Judo. Tomoe nage is categorized as a front sacrifice technique or sutemi waza, Mae-sutemi, because the technique is not a sweep or a trip and tori falls back in front of uke while throwing uke. Lyudmila Yuryevna Bogdanova (russian: Людмила Юрьевна Богданова; born 12 August 1983 in Chişinău, Moldavian SSR) is a Russian judoka, who played for the extra lightweight category. It is one of the nine joint techniques of the Kansetsu-waza list, one of the three grappling lists in Judo's Katame-waza, enumerating 29 grappling techniques, and is also demonstrated by Kyuzo Mifune in the video The Essence of Judo. Technique description Sankaku is translated as "triangle," Ude-Hishigi as arm break, with gatame roughly translated as control.
