An Insignificant Harvey
''An Insignificant Harvey'' is a 2011 independent Canadian drama film. The film made its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea. The feature-length directorial debut by Canadian director Jeff Kopas, the film profiles the life of Harvey Lippe, a janitor at a small town ski resort, who also happens to be a little person, who has his life dramatically change when he finds a stray husky and falls for an exotic dancer. The film stars Jordan Prentice as Harvey, Kristin Adams as Dakota, and Steven McCarthy as Lucas. Jeff Kopas
Jeff Kopas (born January 23, 1975) is a Canadian writer, film director, and producer. Early life Kopas grew up in Toronto and attended high school at Royal St. George's College downtown and then Trinity College School in Port Hope, Ontario. He attended Queen's University in Kingston and finished University at Herstmonceux Castle in England, where he received a Bachelor of Arts. After graduating he traveled abroad worked odd jobs until in 2006 he made an hour-long documentary on his climb of Kilimanjaro and sold it to ''National Geographic'', his first professional film. He was then accepted into a directing course at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, after which he completed six short films (his last being the Bravo Film Dogasaur which was short listed to be placed in the Guggenheim museums, and is distributed by Ouat Media and Shorts International). Jordan Prentice
Jordan Prentice (born January 30, 1973) is a Canadian actor. A self-described "person of short stature", he is known for his portrayal of Rock in '' American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile'' and Jimmy in ''In Bruges'', and for appearing in the music videos for Vengaboys' " Shalala Lala" and The Bloodhound Gang's "The Bad Touch." He was also one of the actors to play ''Howard the Duck''. He is the lead actor in Toronto Playwright, Eric Woolfe's ''Revenger's Medicine Show'' which is currently in development by Eldritch Theatre. Steven McCarthy is a Canadian actor and filmmaker from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The Busan International Film Festival (BIFF, previously Pusan International Film Festival, PIFF), held annually in Haeundae-gu, Busan (''also'' Pusan), South Korea, is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. The first festival, held from 13 to 21 September 1996, was also the first international film festival in Korea. The main focus of the BIFF is to introduce new films and first-time directors, especially those from Asian countries.
