Amy Hayes (born November 24, 1973) is an American ring announcer and model. She is a regular on Fox Sports Net. and a former regular on ESPN2's ''Friday Night Fights'', Hayes has also announced on United States, ESPN, and Showtime. She has also been featured on ''Best Damn Sports Show Period''. She became the exclusive Ring Announcer on Fox Sport's networks "Sunday Night Fights" series - under Promoter Dan Goossen, in 2001. A ring announcer is an in-ring (and sometimes on-camera) employee or contractor for a boxing, professional wrestling or mixed martial arts event or promotion, who introduces the competitors to the audience. In boxing and mixed martial arts bouts, introductions occur after both fighters have entered the ring or cage. Along with each fighter's name, the announcer typically also announces their height, weight, town, nickname, win–loss record and any current or past titles the fighter has won. In MMA, the fighting discipline is usually announced. Fox Sports Networks (FSN), formerly known as Fox Sports Net, was the collective name for a group of regional sports channels in the United States. Formed in 1996 by News Corporation, the networks were acquired by The Walt Disney Company on March 20, 2019, following its acquisition of 21st Century Fox.
