Amy Roxanne Curlew is a Canadian ice hockey forward, currently playing with the Toronto Six of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). Career In high school, she played for the girls' hockey team at Appleby College and for the Oakville Hornets of the Provincial Women's Hockey League (PWHL), winning the 2015 Ontario Women's Hockey Association (OWHA) Provincial Championship. From 2016 to 2020, she attended Cornell University where she played 121 NCAA Division I games with the Cornell Big Red and scored 60 points. She missed the first five games of her rookie season before picking up her first point on November 26, 2016 and her first goal a week later. She scored her first collegiate hat-trick in November 2019, scoring all three in the second period of a 9–1 victory over Brown University. The Brown Bears women’s ice hockey program is an NCAA Division I ice hockey team that represents Brown University. The Bears play at the Meehan Auditorium in Providence, Rhode Island. 2020–21 NWHL Season
The 2020–21 NWHL season was the sixth season of the National Women's Hockey League in North America. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the season was held in a bubble in Lake Placid, New York, from January to February 2021, with all five teams returning from the previous season, along with the Toronto Six expansion team as the first Canada-based team to play in the league. The season was suspended again due to positive cases of COVID-19 within the bubble. 2020 NWHL Draft
The 2020 NWHL Draft took place on April 28–29, 2020. The Boston Pride selected Sammy Davis with the 1st overall pick, having made a trade with the yet unnamed Toronto expansion team. Davis becomes the third Terriers hockey player to go first overall in a professional hockey draft, following Kayla Tutino in the 2016 CWHL Draft, and Rick DiPietro in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft.
