Amp Lee
Anthonia Wayne "Amp" Lee (born October 1, 1971) is an American football coach and former professional running back who played nine seasons in the National Football League. Playing career Lee was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the second round of the 1992 NFL Draft. A 5'11", 200-lb. running back from Florida State University, Lee played in nine NFL seasons from 1992 to 2000. His best year as a professional came during the 1995 season as a member of the Minnesota Vikings when he caught 71 receptions. In 1997, Lee was named team MVP for the St. Louis Rams. He was a part of the Rams' Super Bowl XXXIV winning team. Lee caught Joe Montana's final touchdown pass for the 49ers in 1992. A running back (RB) is a member of the offensive backfield in gridiron football. Reception (American Football)
In gridiron football, a reception, also known informally as a catch, is part of a passing play in which a player in bounds successfully catches (receives) a forward pass thrown from a friendly quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. After making the catch, the receiver will then proceed to run towards the opposing end zone carrying the ball and try to score a touchdown, unless the play ends due to him being downed or forced out of bounds. Yardage gained from the passing play are credited to the catcher as his receiving yards. If the pass is not caught by anyone, it is called an incomplete pass or simply an "incompletion". Saben Lee
Saben Anthonia Lee (born June 23, 1999) is an American professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract. He played college basketball for the Vanderbilt Commodores and was selected in the second round of the 2020 NBA draft by the Utah Jazz before being subsequently traded to the Detroit Pistons. He has also played for the Philadelphia 76ers. Early life and high school career Lee grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, Arizona. The Phoenix Suns are an American professional basketball team based in Phoenix, Arizona. Joe Montana
Joseph Clifford Montana Jr. (born June 11, 1956) is an American former football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 16 seasons, primarily with the San Francisco 49ers. Nicknamed "Joe Cool" and "the Comeback Kid", Montana is widely regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. 1995 NFL Season
The 1995 NFL season was the 76th regular season of the National Football League. The league expanded to 30 teams with the addition of the Carolina Panthers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The two expansion teams were slotted into the two remaining divisions that previously had only four teams (while the other four had five teams): the AFC Central (Jaguars) and the NFC West (Panthers). Meanwhile, the two teams in Los Angeles relocated to other cities: the Rams transferred to St. Louis and the Raiders moved back to Oakland; this would be the start of a 20-year absence for the NFL in Los Angeles. During the course of the season it emerged that the Cleveland Browns would relocate to Baltimore for the 1996 season. 1992 NFL Draft
The 1992 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held April 26–27, 1992, at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, New York. The league also held a supplemental draft after the regular draft and before the regular season. The 1992 draft was notable because for the first time since 1958 one team, the Indianapolis Colts, held the first two overall picks, selecting defensive end Steve Emtman and then linebacker Quentin Coryatt.
