Amos Gill
Amos William Gill (born 22 June 1991) is an Australian comedian and television and radio presenter. Gill was born in Adelaide. He attended Mercedes College in Adelaide and Aquinas College in Perth, graduating from the former. He later went on to study law at the University of Adelaide. He is of Croatian-Australian descent. Career Stand-up Gill's stand-up career started in 2010 when he entered the Triple J Raw Comedy Competition, where he reached the State Final. In 2012, he was a runner-up in the National Final. Gill went on to earn a nomination for the "Best Emerging Comedian" and "People's Choice" awards at the 2013 Adelaide Fringe for his show ''You've Changed''. At the 2013 Melbourne Comedy Festival, Amos was hand-selected by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for the prestigious "Comedy Zone". Raw Comedy
Raw Comedy is an Australian annual competition for emerging stand-up comedians held by Melbourne International Comedy Festival. It was established in 1996 and is supported by national youth radio station Triple J. In 2011, there were 1,100 contestants. Heats take place in major Australian cities through January, February and March. State semi-finals and finals are held in the state capitals in March. The final is held as part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival in April and televised on ABC. The winner of Raw Comedy is sent to the So You Think You're Funny competition at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Adelaide Fringe
The Adelaide Fringe, formerly Adelaide Fringe Festival, is the world's second-largest annual arts festival (after the Edinburgh Festival Fringe), held in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. Between mid-February and mid-March each year, it features more than 7,000 artists from around Australia and the world. Melbourne International Comedy Festival
The Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) is the largest stand-alone comedy festival and the second-largest international comedy festival in the world. Established in 1987, it takes place annually in Melbourne over four weeks, typically starting in March and running through to April. The Melbourne Town Hall has served as the festival hub, but performances are held in many venues throughout the city. Amberley Lobo
Amberley "Ambo" Lobo (born 30 October 1990) is an Australian television presenter best known for her role as a host on Australian children's television program ''Studio 3'', which was on ABC 3. Early life Lobo was born in Perth, Western Australia, and grew up in South Hedland. Her father is from India and her mother is from New Zealand. Her television career began in 2009 after she was selected from a nationwide search conducted by the ABC.
