Amos Bullocks
Amos Bullocks (February 7, 1939 – April 16, 2019) was a former American football running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers. He played college football at Southern Illinois University. Early years Bullocks attended Chicago's Dunbar High School, before moving on to Southern Illinois University. He finished ranked first in school history in career rushing yards (2,441) and career touchdowns (32). He was twice named honorable-mention Little All-American. In 1981, he was inducted into the Southern Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame. Professional career Dallas Cowboys Bullocks was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the twentieth round (270th overall) of the 1962 NFL Draft and by the Buffalo Bills in the tenth round (76th overall) of the 1962 AFL Draft. Bill Frank
William B. Frank, Jr. (April 13, 1938 – June 26, 2014) was a Canadian football offensive tackle in the Canadian Football League for the BC Lions, Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He also was a member of the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Colorado. He is a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). 1964 NFL Season
The 1964 NFL season was the 45th regular season of the National Football League. Before the season started, NFL commissioner Pete Rozelle reinstated Green Bay Packers running back Paul Hornung and Detroit Lions defensive tackle Alex Karras, who had been suspended for the 1963 season due to gambling. Beginning this season, the home team in each game was allowed the option of wearing their white jerseys. Since 1957, league rules had mandated that the visiting team wear white and the home team wear colored jerseys. The NFL also increased the regular season roster limit from 37 to 40 active players, which would remain unchanged for a decade. Don Perkins
Donald Anthony Perkins (March 4, 1938 – June 9, 2022) was an American professional football player who was a fullback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of New Mexico. Early years Born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa, Perkins earned eight letters for Waterloo West High School, four each in football and track (sprinter). He also played basketball.
