Leo Fleider
Leo Fleider (October 12, 1913 in Hermanowa, Poland - August 5, 1977 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) was a Polish born Argentine film director and screenwriter, and one of the influential directors in the Cinema of Argentina of the classic era. Tango is a partner dance and social dance that originated in the 1880s along the Río de la Plata, the natural border between Argentina and Uruguay. The tango was born in the impoverished port areas of these countries as the result of a combination of Rioplatense Candombe celebrations, Spanish-Cuban Habanera, and Argentine Milonga. The tango was frequently practiced in the brothels and bars of ports, where business owners employed bands to entertain their patrons. The tango then spread to the rest of the world. Marcos Zucker (15 February 1921 – 13 May 2003) was an Argentine actor and comedian, known for his work on stage, on television, and in films, he is best known for his comedic roles and appeared in 66 films. Biography Marcos Zucker was born into a Polish-Jewish family who immigrated to the country at the beginning of the 20th century during the great European emigration. He was born and raised in the neighborhood of Balvanera (Abasto), Buenos Aires. Started his acting career as a dramatic actor but gradually switched to comedy. He worked in several successful comedy programs on television from the 1960s to the 1990s, especially in the acclaimed comedy-skit ''La Tuerca''.
