Somaweera Senanayake
Somaweera Senanayake (25 November 1944 – 9 June 2018; si, සෝමවීර සේනානායක) was a Sri Lankan award-winning teledrama and script writer who also worked as a journalist, short story writer and as a novelist in his career. He died on 9 June 2018 at a private hospital in Colombo at the age of 73. Early life Somaweera Senanayake was born in 1944 in a village near Avissawella area. He attended a village mixed school in Kudagama for his primary education and finished his secondary education at the Seethawaka Central College and also at the Rajasinghe Central College before obtaining an Arts Degree from Vidyodaya University (now known as Sri Jayawardenepura University). Wanniarachchige Malini Senehelatha Fonseka, popularly as Malini Fonseka ( Sinhala:මාලිනී ෆොන්සේකා) (born 30 April 1947, in Kelaniya) is an actress in Sri Lankan cinema, theatre and television as well as a director. Often considered as the "Queen of Sinhalese cinema", Fonseka first became widely known when she won the 'Best Actress Award' at the 1969 National State Drama Festival. Roshan Pilapitiya Abhayasinghe (born 21 March 1975: si, රොෂාන් පිලපිටිය), is an actor in Sri Lankan cinema, theatre and television as well as a singer. Largely active in television serials, Pilapitiya was awarded the most popular actor award at Sumathi Tele Awards in 2003 and 2004. Daya Bandara Tennakoon (born 29 November 1941 – died 17 April 2020 as දයා තෙන්නකෝන්) inhala, was an actor in Sri Lankan cinema, stage drama and television. Personal life He was born on 29 November 1941 in the small village Galabadawatta, in Rangala, Kandy.
