Amit Simhon
Amit Simhon ( he, עמית שמחון; born October 22, 1989) is an Israeli basketball player at the small forward position for Hapoel Haifa of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He was named All-Israeli League First Team in 2018, and is a two-time Israeli League All-Star (2016, 2018). Early life Simhon was born in Ramat Gan, He played for the Hapoel Givatayim, Hapoel Aviv, and Ironi Ramat Gan youth teams. Professional career Ironi Ramat Gan (2007–2009) In 2007, Simhon started his professional career in Ironi Ramat Gan. Maccabi Hod HaSharon (2009–2010) In 2009, Simhon signed with Maccabi Hod HaSharon of the Liga Leumit. During that season, Simhon was the Liga Leumit leading scorer by averaging 19.9 points per game and was named All-Liga Leumit First Team. Oz Blayzer ( he, עוז בלייזר; born December 29, 1992) is an Israeli professional basketball player for Hapoel Jerusalem of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. Biography Oz Blayzer was born in Kfar Tavor, Israel. He played with the Hapoel Gilboa-Afula youth team. The 2011–2012 Israeli Basketball Super League was the 58th season of the top basketball league in Israel. The season began on 16 October 2011 and ended on 24 May 2012. Maccai Tel Aviv won the championship title for the 50th time. Format Each of the 11 participating teams play 20 regular league games, one home game and one away game against each other team. After that, there is 3rd round in which every team play against each other team once. The top eight teams advance to the playoff, where they play best-of-5 series decided by the rankings at the end of the regular season (first against eighth, second against seventh and so on). Liga Leumit ( he, ליגה לאומית, lit. ''National League'') is the second tier level league of basketball competition in Israel. It is the league level that is below the first tier Israeli Basketball Premier League, Israeli Premier League.
