Amit Mahto

	Amit Mahto Amit Mahto is an Indian politician and the member of Jharkhand Legislative Assembly from Silli and won Vidhan Sabha election in 2014. He was a member of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and considered the face of youth in Jharkhand Political Party. Former JMM MLA from Silli, Amit Mahto has resigned from the party, accused the leadership of compromising the interest of the people of Jharkhand and formed a new political Party Khatiyani Jharkhandi Party on 6 April 2022 to give rights to the local Khatiyani People of Jharkhand. 	Silli Silli is a village in the Silli CD block in the Ranchi Sadar subdivision of the Ranchi district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Geography Location Silli is located at . The Subarnarekha River forms the boundary with Purulia district in West Bengal before flowing through Seraikela Kharsawan district. 	Binod Bihari Mahato Binod Bihari Mahato (23 September 1923 – 18 December 1991) was an advocate and politician. He established Shivaji Samaj, a social reform organisation among the Kudumi Mahato people. He was the founder of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, established in 1972. He was a leader of the movement for the establishment of the separate state of Jharkhand. He was a member of Bihar Vidhan Sabha three times, in 1980, 1985 and 1990, and a member of the Lok Sabha from Giridih in 1991. Early life Binod Bihari Mahato was born on 23 September 1923 in Badadaha village in Baliapur division of Dhanbad district. His father was Mahendra Mahato and mother was Mandakini Devi. 	Nirmal Mahto Nirmal Mahto was a political activist and prominent leader of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. He was founder of All Jharkhand Students Union. He was prominent leader in movement for separate state of Jharkhand. In 1980, due to controversy, Shibu Soren and Binod Bihari Mahato drifted apart. A. K. Roy also left. Shibu Soren appointed Mahato as president and himself as general secretary of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. Mahato perceived that to fight for Jharkhand with just support of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha will be difficult.
