Amir Azrafshan (born 17 August 1987) is a Swedish football manager who is currently managing Dalkurd FF. Early life Azrafshan emigrated to Falun at the age of 10. Managerial career Östersund Azrafshan was appointed as manager of Swedish Allsvenskan side Östersund on 11 July 2020 during the 2020 Allsvenskan season after Englishman Ian Burchnall. Ian Burchnall
Ian David Burchnall (born 11 February 1983) is an English football manager who is the assistant manager of Anderlecht. He holds the UEFA Pro Licence. Managerial career Burchnall started his coaching career at the age of 22 at the University of Leeds. He was later part of coaching staffs at Leeds United and Bradford City academies. Sarpsborg 08 In 2012, Burchnall was signed by Norwegian club Sarpsborg 08 as Brian Deane's assistant manager. Viking On 22 October 2014, Burchnall accepted an offer from Viking to become Kjell Jonevret's assistant. Dalkurd FF Managers
Dalkurd Fotbollsförening, commonly known as Dalkurd FF or simply Dalkurd () is a Swedish football club based in Uppsala. The club plays in the Ettan Norra, which is the third tier of football in the country. On 26 September 2004, the club was originally founded by members of the Kurdish diaspora in Borlänge, Dalarna. On 24 November 2017, Dalkurd chose to move their senior team operations to Uppsala, some 140 kilometers southeast of Borlänge, where they will play at the new ground Nya Studenternas IP following its opening in 2020. Superettan
Superettan (; meaning the super first (division)) is an association football league and the second highest league in the league system of Swedish men's football. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Allsvenskan and Division 1. Seasons run from April to October, with teams playing 30 matches each, totalling 240 matches in the season. The league was created in 2000. The second tier of Swedish football had previously consisted of a varying number of regionalized leagues operating under the Division 2 (1924–1986) and Division 1 (1987–1999) names. 2020 Allsvenskan
The 2020 Allsvenskan, part of the 2020 Swedish football season, was the 96th season of Allsvenskan since its establishment in 1924. A total of 16 teams participated. Djurgårdens IF were the defending champions after winning the title in the previous season. The 2020 Allsvenskan season was scheduled to begin on 4 April and end on 8 November 2020 (not including play-off matches), but due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden the opening games of the season were delayed. On 4 June 2020, the Swedish government and the Public Health Agency of Sweden announced that the travel restrictions within Sweden were lifted.
