The American Patriot League (APL) is a planned professional American football minor league, which is owned by ''The World Professional Football Association'', a single entity corporation, that will manage the business of the APL. It was initially planned to launch in 2019. The season is supposed to run from April through June as a 14-game season, featuring eight team divided into two divisions: Freedom and Liberty. History Premise The APL will be a single entity corporation, that will consist eight franchises that will be divided into two divisions: Freedom Division and Liberty Division. Each team will play a 14 game schedule consisting of 7 home games and 7 away games. The WPFA had plans to add additional team cities to the APL in 2020 and 2021. Rice Stadium is an American football stadium located on the Rice University campus in Houston, Texas. It has been the home of the Rice Owls football team since its completion in 1950, and hosted John F. Kennedy's "We choose to go to the Moon" speech in 1962 and Super Bowl VIII in early 1974. Architecturally, Rice Stadium is an example of modern architecture, with simple lines and an unadorned, functional design. The lower seating bowl is located below the surrounding ground level. Built solely for football, the stadium has excellent sightlines from almost every seat. To achieve this, the running track was eliminated so that spectators were closer to the action and each side of the upper decks was brought in at a concave angle to provide better sightlines. Daytona Stadium, is a 9,601-seat multi-purpose stadium in Daytona Beach, Florida, built in 1988 and home to the Bethune–Cookman University Wildcats football team. Jamie Thomas (born October 11, 1974) is an American professional skateboarder and skateboard industry entrepreneur.
