American Ninja Warrior (season 6)
The sixth season of ''American Ninja Warrior'' premiered on NBC on May 26, 2014. Matt Iseman returned for his sixth season as host, while Akbar Gbaja-Biamila and Jenn Brown each returned for their second season. Similar to previous seasons, the winner receives $500,000 and the coveted title, "American Ninja Warrior". Cities In addition to the five cities (Venice Beach, Dallas, St. Louis, Miami, and Denver), the national finals were held once again in Las Vegas, Nevada. Matt Iseman (born January 22, 1971) is an American comedian, actor, and television host, who began his career as a physician. He is best known for his role as play-by-play announcer and host of ''American Ninja Warrior''. He was the winner of ''The New Celebrity Apprentice'' in 2017, the show's only season. Early life and medical career Iseman was born in Denver, Colorado. The son of a pulmonologist, Iseman was raised in Denver and followed his father into a medical career, earning a B.A. with honors from Princeton University and an M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. ''American Gladiators'' is an American competition TV show that aired on NBC and Citytv in Canada. Preston Griffall (born June 6, 1984) is an American luger who has competed since 1995. He finished 8th and 14th in the doubles event at the 2006 and 2014 Olympics, respectively. Griffall's best finish at the FIL World Luge Championships was 6th in the doubles at Park City, Utah in 2005. Richard Charles Thompson (born April 23, 1979) is a former professional baseball outfielder, who played in Major League Baseball with the Kansas City Royals in 2004 and the Tampa Bay Rays in 2012.
