American Daylight
''American Daylight'' is a 2004 Indian film production in Hollywood. The film is directed by Roger Christian and produced by Kaleidoscope Entertainment. The film stars Nick Moran as Lawrence, an American music executive, who falls for Sujata (Koel Purie), a call center worker in India, then flies halfway around the planet to meet her. Nick's journey is complicated by his wife (Jennifer Siebel), Sujata's boss (Vijay Raaz) who sees Lawrence as a romantic rival, and the assassin hired by that boss to kill Lawrence. After October 2004 screenings at the London Film Festival and Pusan International Film Festival, the film opened wide in India on 17 December 2004. The film was premiered in the Marché du Film section of the 2005 Cannes Film Festival The 58th Cannes Film Festival started on 11 May and ran until 22 May 2005. Roger Christian (filmmaker)
Roger Christian (born 25 February 1944) is an English set decorator, production designer and feature film director. He won an Academy Awards, Academy Award for his work on the original ''Star Wars (film), Star Wars'' and was Oscar-nominated for his work on ''Alien (film), Alien''. Christian directed the second unit on both ''Return of the Jedi'' and ''Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace'' as well as feature films including ''The Sender'' and ''Nostradamus (1994 film), Nostradamus''. He also directed the 2000 film ''Battlefield Earth (film), Battlefield Earth'' which is regarded as one of the List of films considered the worst, worst films ever made. The Busan International Film Festival (BIFF, previously Pusan International Film Festival, PIFF), held annually in Haeundae-gu, Busan (''also'' Pusan), South Korea, is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. Farrukh Dhondy
Farrukh Dhondy (born 1944) is an Indian-born British writer, playwright, screenwriter and left-wing activist who resides in the United Kingdom. Education Dhondy was born in 1944 in Poona, India, where he attended The Bishop's School, and obtained a BSc degree from the University of Poona (1964). He won a scholarship to Pembroke College, Cambridge, where he read Natural Sciences before switching to English, earning a BA degree in 1967. After graduating he studied for a master's degree at Leicester University and was later a lecturer at Leicester College of Further Education and Archbishop Temple School in Lambeth in London.
