Amen (Ana Soklič Song)
"Amen" is a song by Slovenian singer Ana Soklič. The song represented Slovenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Eurovision Song Contest Internal selection On 16 May 2020, RTV Slovenija confirmed that Ana Soklič would represent Slovenia in the 2021 contest. Following the announcement of Soklič as the selected artist, composers were able to submit their songs to the broadcaster between 13 July 2020 and 30 September 2020. 191 songs were received by the broadcaster during the submission period. Ana Soklič
Ana Soklič (born 10 April 1984) is a Slovenian singer. She represented Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "Amen", placing 13th in the first semi-final with 44 points. Career In 2012, Soklič participated in the first season of Slovenian version of X Factor, where she finished in 5th place. On 20 December 2019, Soklič was announced as one of the twelve participants in EMA 2020, the national contest in Slovenia to select the country's Eurovision Song Contest 2020 entry, with the song " Voda". On 22 February 2020, she won the contest and was supposed to represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Založba kaset in plošč RTV Slovenija or Založba kaset in plošč Radiotelevizije Slovenija (acronym ZKP RTVS, meaning "Publishing and Record Label RTV Slovenia" in Slovene) is a major Slovenian record label, based in Ljubljana. Perpetuum Jazzile
Perpetuum Jazzile is a Slovenian musical group best known for an a cappella version of Toto rock band's song Africa. The May 2009 video showing a live performance of this version has received close to 22 million views on YouTube. The group was founded in as Gaudeamus Chamber Choir and has always featured male and female singers. In 2013, there were 41 performers of whom 24 are female and 17 male. The group occasionally performs with the Slovenian Radio and Television Big Band though most performances are a cappella. Leadership The group was founded by Marko Tiran who led the Gaudeamus Choir for over 17 years. In 2001, the choir's art leadership was passed to Tomaž Kozlevčar. The RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra ( sl, Simfonični orkester RTV Slovenija) is a radio orchestra in Slovenia. History RTVSO was established in 1956 within Radiotelevizija Slovenija. The Orchestra followed the name change of the National Radio and TV Station from RTV Ljubljana to RTV Slovenija. Throughout its 50-year history, it contributed to archive recordings, composed by Slovenian composers, as well as contemporary and classical music from all over the world. Dorian Jose Holley is an American musician, backing singer and a vocal coach. He began his professional career as an on-stage backing vocalist for American entertainer Michael Jackson during his Bad World Tour in 1987.
